Measure the highest point and the lowest route
Measure the vehicle on the same surface and tire condition used at the garage. Add bars, feet, box, basket, kayak, pads, straps, and any top-mounted accessory. Check the door, frame, slope, ramp, pipes, lights, and every turn—not just the opening label.
Mark the highest point before entering and keep the measurement with the vehicle notes. A roof box that fits the opening can still strike a low internal obstruction.
